In a little over a month, it will be Christmas, and THIS WEEK IS Thanksgiving! I have only heard tell of the awesome Thanksgiving that Nick's friends from school put together, but I'm super excited. Everyone brings a dish. The class is incredibly international, so the food is going to be pretty amazing. I am making my mom's Corn Casserole and Nick is making the mashed potatoes.
Christmas is definitely approaching over here. Since Thanksgiving isn't an English Holiday, they go straight from Halloween decorations to Christmas ones (with a stop in the middle for Fireworks), and I love it. England decked out for Christmas is very magical. In Hyde Park, they have Winter Wonderland. It hasn't opened yet, but it promises to be very exciting, with Ice Skating, an Ice Palaces, and... (wait for it) Christmas Markets! EEEE! My money supply is running a little lower than I wish it was, but I figure a Christmas market in England is the perfect place to buy Christmas gifts.

OH! Did I mention. "Balance," the musical Kevin Fogarty and I have been writing is getting a staged reading over here. I am excited and scared for sure. But the cast we have assembled is very talented. The show is December 3rd at 7:30 and I am making cuts/edits throughout the process. I feel like Debra Messing on SMASH! Stay tuned for more updates on the project.
Last night a friend asked me if I missed the States, and I said that yes, I miss being home, I miss being allowed to have a job and I miss seeing my friends and family. But just you wait. In two months when someone asks me if I miss London the answer will most definitely be yes. I will miss the magic of the city, all the beautiful buildings, and all the wonderful people have I met while being here.
