I gotta tell you. I am really glad that I write a "next blog" at the bottom of each of my blogs because otherwise, I would have no idea what to write about.
Here are the promises I made:
1. Visits with Molly Hood (That got delayed from this episode... you'll survive. I hope)
2. A visit to the Royal Academy of Music
3. More dance classes and master classes.
4. Frivolity
Fortunately for you (or unfortunately depending on if you are reading this blog by force or not) "1. Visits with Molly Hood" contains many different adventures. So- we shall start there.

I met Molly at the Globe on... some day... I think this last Thursday but who really knows about days anymore. (I checked- It was Thursday). And we did the tour, which was quite interesting. They rebuilt the original Globe only fireproof. It took longer and cost more. Sounds about right.
I had never seen pictures of the Globe before, so it looked completely different from what I expected. Which was exciting.

I also learned that you are allowed to stand during the show. In fact! It is encouraged. (All you Shakespeare-ites that knew this already- don't judge.) When I went to see Richard III, I had an awesome seat: third row center. But I am definitely going to try to see another show (12th Night- please oh please) and be a "groundling," as they are called. Mark Rylance (who is brilliant) seemed to love messing with the groundlings. Watching him interact with them was hilarious. It really gives you a feel for what it must have been like to see a show during Shakespeare's day.
Upon my second trip to the Globe (to see Richard III), I accidentally got off of the train a stop early. Rather than swallow my pride and wait for the next train, I went a head and left the tube station as if everything was going according to plan. Of course, that put me further out, but walking through London is really cool. Guys. Really cool. I passed many things, including this flutist who posed for me (I tipped him). He was playing fiercely.
Molly, Becki (her aunt), and Alan (cool Irish friend of Molly's), and I all saw Richard III and hung out afterward and then we met again the following night at the George Inn. It was quite a bit of fun. Conversation with Molly is always wonderful, Becki knows a ton, and Alan has an Irish accent. (And interesting things to say, but occasionally I got distracted by the awesome accent.)
On to my next promise. Except I am going to go out of order for the sake of .... for the sake of... I dunno, I just feel like it. Yesterday I visited the Royal Academy of Music (henceforth called RAM). For those who do not know, I am applying to RAM for the postgraduate degree program in Musical Theatre. The school is pretty cool. The students start every day with "limber" which is a 30 minute stretching and core strengthening class, probably one of the greatest ideas I have ever heard for a program. They have dance classes, acting classes, and other classes that one would expect from a musical theatre program. The school is located right across from Regent's Park. I'm not sure why that is so cool to me, but it is.
I have been taking dance classes at Danceworks. And I am loving it. I took a class this morning that really kicked my butt. So, I think that class is a keeper. I am definitely out of practice, but I am excited to take this opportunity to get back into practice. Then when I move to NYC in February I will just keep it up. I'm saying it out loud so that now I have to or else look like a slacker. (Never mind that I didn't just say it out loud... I wrote it down. Mere details!)
I have a Shakespeare masterclass tomorrow and a commercial masterclass on Friday. Audition/Callbacks for AXIS Arts are on Saturday. So, my next blog should be fun. But you'll have to come back to find out. :-D
Promises/Next Blog:
1. Pictures of Hyde Park (if the weather holds out)
2. Masterclasses
3. England. Cool England things
4. Callbacks.
5. I think there is a fair on Saturday! (I need to check on that.)

Frivolity was present throughout the blog, so I did not feel the need to address it separately.
