HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
... Or as I like to think of it: Happy the-first-day-I-can-listen-to-Christmas-music-again Day! No seriously, I woke up this morning and turned on "A Christmas Carol" (Alan Menken's- DUH!). I had the music prepped for almost a week and today I listened to it as often as possible. Today has been a WONDERFUL day, and it is just starting!

Technically, my day started at around 12:00 am when I continued to read "Harry Potter" (#7) until 1:30am. Before you all freak out: Yes, I HAVE read the books before, I just wanted to read one while I was in England.
After enjoying a lovely sleep, I woke up and headed to Bikram Yoga, where I ran into Lottie Vallis. A lovely chat, a great yoga session, and a train ride later, I was making my mom's Corn Casserole in preparation for the Thanksgiving feast that I will be attending later. I put on make-up for the first time in .... a VERY long time (sorry to all those who have had to view me), and now I am awaiting Nick's return from school so that we may get everything together for THANKSGIVING DINNER!
I know what you're thinking. (I'm psychic like that) "Do they have Thanksgiving in England??" Of course not, silly! Why on earth would the English celebrate the day that the puritans buggered off? (Or rather the day the Puritans started bumming off another culture... eeep!) But, Nick and his class at East 15 take the cue from the old US of A and arranged a gigantic feast to celebrate ANYWAY.

But, just for the record; I will definitely miss my mother's AMAZING Thanksgiving Dinner and spending the day with my family.
I am thankful for a great many things and my wonderful family is top on that list. Parents that are constantly giving to me and supporting me and who are always there for me just start the list of supportive family members. I am Thankful for Nick, of course. And I am Thankful for my friends. If you are reading this blog, I would guess you are someone that I am thankful for. So, take that one. ;)
